It's hard to imagine that my second year is already moving by so fast! It feels like just yesterday when I started Sloan and sat down for orientation. What a busy semester it has been so far with classes, projects, activities, and good times with friends!
This semester, I decided to venture out of my comfort zone and take a class called EnActing Leadership in which a small group of 17 students come together over the semester and perform a variant of Shakespeare's Macbeth! It has been a fun class thus far getting to understand everyone's public speaking and acting skills and helping each other learn to be better public performers. The class is thinking of doing a "reality TV" version of Macbeth which we will perform for 150+ people on November 25!
Next week is our Sloan Innovation Period (SIP) week where instead of regularly-scheduled classes, we take special leadership workshops and seminars. I have signed up for some interesting workshops related to motivating people across cultures, understanding the increasingly digital economy, and more.
Stay tuned for more posts!
