One of the awesome things about MIT Sloan is the rich entreprenuerial ecosystem outside of the business school. Last semester, I took NextLab, taught by Jhonatan Rotberg. We spun out a mobile open source software foundation out of our class project, and now it's taken wings. We're funded for a summer deployment in the Philippines - I will spend six weeks there managing the project and advising the Health Ministry on their telehealth strategy.
